Medit Splints is a quick and easy way to create splints in just a few short steps.

There are two workflow options available: Auto Creation and Manual Creation. After assigning the data and selecting an arch for splint creation, you will be asked to choose between the two. We will introduce both workflows separately later in this course.

Align with Occlusal Plane  Align the data with the virtual occlusal plane to place the scan data parallel to the screen.

Occlusal Adjustment Mode  Adjust the occlusal relationship to create a space for the future splint.

Inner Surface Creation Mode Create the splint’s inner surface.

Outline Designation Mode Designate the outline of the splint.

Outer Surface Creation Mode Create the splint’s outer surface.

Design Mode Design the splint using the tools provided in more detail.

Labeling Mode Add a label to the model by either engraving or embossing the text.
